An amazing ballooning experience.

From the moment Ricardo (the owner) picked us up, to the moment he dropped us back, my wife and I had the most exhilarating, knowledgeable and amazing experience. Ricardo has an excellent team supporting him both on land and in the air. A brief registration process and assignment to your balloon and your experience gets better. Helping the inflation is amazing. The vastness and size of the balloon is unimaginable. The hot air to make is rise, such heat. And then the getting into the basket before slowly rising and heading off into the glorious morning sunrise. We flew with Ricardo as our pilot. He inspired you with confidence. Constantly checking in with the other balloons, checking his weather and wind monitors as well as direction. Ricardo is a fountain of knowledge that he is prepared to share so feel free to ask him questions. Ricardo has a great sense of humour too and will take photos of you whilst in flight so as to give you those lasting memories. The flight itself was for one hour from point A to point B, not circular. The views and tranquility were spectacular. The take off and landing, smooth. After landing it’s all hands on deck to help deflate and pack away the balloon and load the basket onto the truck. It’s great to see all passengers helping. Finally, back in the cars, vans and buses to return to the start at Manacor where a healthy, filling breakfast awaits before departing home. The balloon trip is amazing, Ricardo has safety as primary and will only fly in perfect conditions. His team is super friendly too, making the whole experience outstanding. We’d highly recommend anyone going in this trip.

Best experience in Mallorca

One of the best experiences you can possibly have. I highly reccomend it, the team from Mallorca Balloons is amazing, starting with our driver, Juan, who was also a bit of a tour guide, presenting a lot of interesting facts, continuing with Bojan, whose energy was contagious and most importantly, our pilot, Yaros, whose great skills made the flight feel natural and, together with a smooth take-off and landing, made the experience amazing. Also, many thanks for the delicious breakfast and the great laugh! This is a must do in Mallorca!

Mixed experience

The ballooning experience was great however it’s important to be aware that where the website and confirmation email states ‘Included: pick-up from the hotel and return’ what they mean is for an additional €80 they will offer a transfer service. In our case we had to accept this but I wouldn’t again as the driver was using his mobile phone, holding it to his ear talking, for the majority of the 34 minute drive, which I was very uncomfortable with. It’s a real shame that an otherwise great experience was marred by this.
