Cuevas del Drach
Now we will visit the famous "Cuevas del Drach" which are known as "The Dragon Caves". These caves are millions of years old and have been visited by most historians and geographers.
When we get there, you have the advantage of being able to skip the ticket line and begin the excursion.

Fabulous experience, well worth a visit, use public transport it’s much cheaper and so easy to get to plus you can spend time shopping and it has a lovely cafe.

It was difficult to identify the correct coach as multiple tour operators use the same pick up point and the rep has to find your name on a long list.
Once in board everything went smoothly, some interesting facts were shared on the way.
Caves themselves and the concert are amazing however at peak season you have to accept it will be crowded. Don't worry if you have small ones they say they turn off the lights but you can still see, it isn't pitch black.
We couldn't catch the "boat trip" back as queues were ridiculously long and we didn't have time we needed to get back to the coach.
The pearl factory wasn't for us we went down to the marina instead. Wish we had more time in Porto Cristo really.
All in all would do again.

A great experience with a few drawbacks.
Our guide Antonia was very kind and helpful, and it was very interesting all the information during the bus ride.
The caves themselves are very beautiful and the concert is fascinating, but NOT RECOMMENDED if you have small kids since they can disturb other visitors during the concert. Also, please follow instructions of no recording/taking pictures cuz it can ruin the experience for others.
It felt a little crowed, I think the groups allowed should be a bit smaller since not everyone get the chance to go on the boats due to time constraints with the bus.
The visit to the pearl shop felt a biy unnecessary and time consuming.
The whole tour (pick-up to drop-off) is longer that 5 hours. I would say you should be prepared to spend at least 6 hours.
Aside from that, I enjoyed it very much.

Overall the caves of Drach was a good experience and I recommend dont miss this if you visit Mallorca.
The important feedback is the please find a way to inform passangers to identify the correct organisers( during transit/ or waiting for the bus or conductor ) in a common point.
It was difficult to identify the correct bus and crew members when you are waiting for your bus with all other guides from other agencies.

2. Be on time all the time and try to stick to the timings mentioned by the guide

Spent a lot of time in Manacor and porta Crista lovely place with excellent restaurants and good value for money good time of the year to visit as weather was good and not too hot
Covid trap.visited last week . We’re assured there would be social distancing with limited numbers. Was so crowded

Absolute covid trap. They said numbers were restricted, but so many people crammed into a tiny area. No spacing even at the musical concert. 5 days later my husband and I tested positive for Covid.
Highly recommend not going, or at least wear a proper protective mask.

Too long for just an hour cave tour

The caves was a great experience, but the day was way too long. The Cave tour was only an hour, but our pick up was at 8:30 and drop off was at 3:30…. We also visited a pearl factory that I would have liked to skip. It was just too much waiting and downtime.

The caves were beautiful and great experience. However, the bus ride over was prolonged by stopping at a local pearl shop. Furthermore, there was way too many people allowed to go in at once. It was cramped and not everyone had an opportunity to go on the boat inside the caves.

This was a bit underwhelming. Very busy. A walk down a cave, rushed along a bit to make the concert in time. A few classical tunes then a very short rowing boat trip. We waited 30 mins to get on the boat. There is a walkway next to this which detracts from it a bit as the boat isn’t really needed at all.
