Wow, just wow. I love this place and it's owners and staff...they are extremely professional and knowledgeable. They provide all levels of courses from beginners to experienced divers. The owners are extremely passionate and accommodating. I've been here 3 times and will always love to return. Anyone looking to dive in Mallorca should go here from beginners to experienced.
I Made my first diving experience with the BBD and it was awesome. I booked a PADI Open Water course. Our teacher Davide was very patient and caring all the time. He taught us all lessons as often as we needed. During the dives there was always time to show us special sea life like mini-octopus or starfish. All in all I was very happy to have chosen that diving school for my first lesson. A big thank you to the whole crew, especially to Davide. :)
Four friends and I did the SSI Open Water Diver certification with Davide and Milou and it was really quite fun! The first two days were shallow water dives with lots of skills practice and learning about how to handle any emergency (mask fills with water, sharing air, removing the BCDs, etc.), and the last day were 2 deeper open water dives, which were really quite lovely! There was lots of marine wildlife to see, including a big school of Barracuda and even a jellyfish! They're super responsible, fun people, and take care of a lot of the logistics with the tanks, wetsuits, and BCDs, and it's very accessible via bus from Palma. I personally felt like I had some discomfort in my ears because I had a hard time equalizing on day 2 (shallow water dives), but they had some great suggestions and with gentle encouragement (and reassuring me that if anything hurt at all, we should stop the dive, and I wouldn't have to continue), I ended up trying the deeper dives, and it was all OK! We really recommend this place!
Went to Big Blue Diving to take my PADI licens with a good friend. An amazing and very friendly crew welcomes us, and Davide our instructor was absolutely amazing. Thank you very much for an amazing start on our journey as divers
I have always wanted to scuba dive since i was young and loved exploring rockpools near shorelines with a mask and snorkel. The team at Big Blue Diving teach you everything you need to know, from setting up and checking equipment, to a range of underwater exercises to improve your skills and so you know how to respond in a variety of situations. I found it tough the first day, but by Day 3 I had loads of newfound confidence and loved exploring the waters of Mallorca with some new friends and the team! They are all really friendly and once you've completed your course you really feel like you've joined the best adventurers club and you're one of them. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to try something new.
